Montessori 3D Fitting Exercise basic set
Carla’s Treasure 3D Object Fitting Exercise Set
8-9 month old babies love to explore everything around them. At this age they become interested in fitting objects such as putting a wooden egg in a cup and taking it out again.
Putting a ball in a cup is a new experience and a bit more challenging because s/he has to turn over the cup to remove the ball.
These activities enhance hand-eye coordination and give the baby an opportunity for his two hands to work together in a meaningful way. Includes: 2 cups, 1 egg, 1 ball and a wooden tray.
The tray is ideal for material presentation, Montessori or other educational activities (ex. sorting and scooping) and storage.
Material: 100% natural wood
Recommended age: 8months - 5years
This product is sustainable and offers the possibility of many hours of open-ended play over many years.
This set is designed to be specifically used by childcare practitioners within educational settings to support children’s learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Safety Information: Babies must be supervised at all times when playing with these items.
The caregiver assumes full responsibility for ensuring that the product is used in a safe manner.
How to clean: Wooden utensils/objects should be hand washed with a mild dish detergent and then hand-dried. Do not use a dishwasher.
Tips: To extend their durability we would recommend oiling them. Mineral oil is highly preferable because it doesn’t turn rancid and it’s not a common allergen, but also coconut oil can be used.
Directions: Clean wooden object and dry. Follow by rubbing some oil onto a clean cloth and apply to wood into a circular motion. Then let it dry. You only need to rub in a small amount of oil.
Oiling extends their practical lives.
Happy open-ended play!
