Small Pig Shaped Wooden Board

The Pig Wooden Board can be used for a multitude of options.

While they can be used in the kitchen as a chopping/cutting board: for cutting bread, meat, cutting fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc; these lovely boards can also be used with young children as well as older children for presenting materials, Montessori practical life activities, invitations to play, playdough play, pretend play,  small world play -> open-ended play.

How to clean: Wooden utensils should be hand washed with a mild dish detergent and then hand-dried. Do not use a dishwasher.

• Hands wash only
• Do not leave to soak in water
• Occasionally coat with oil to prevent the wood from drying out

Tips: To extend their durability we would recommend oiling them. Mineral oil is highly preferable because it doesn’t turn rancid and it’s not a common allergen, but also coconut oil can be used.
Directions: Clean wooden object and dry. Follow by rubbing some oil onto a clean cloth and apply to wood into a circular motion. Then let it dry. You only need to rub in a small amount of oil. 
Oiling extends their practical lives.
